Nursery’s special sound of the week was ‘p’, so they asked if they could make popcorn. We decided it would be safer to make it in the microwave, and the children would be able to watch, and listen for the pop. They waited, and waited, then, pop, pop, pop! The children were really excited and couldn’t wait to take their popcorn home.
