This week in Year Two, the children have enjoyed taking care of our class chicks. The children are working hard taking turns to feed them and to give them water, and every morning we take them out of their brooding box for some exercise. We can’t believe how quickly the chicks are growing! The boys and girls are thoroughly enjoying seeing first-hand the life cycle of a chick, after we did lots of work reading and writing explanation texts about the process a few weeks ago.
