Today we celebrated St David’s and chaired our Baird of 2017.
Pupils always produce work of a high standard at Pontlliw school. We are always proud of our pupils but today we also celebrated how proud we are to be Welsh – our right to our own language.
Over the weeks leading up to St David’s Day, pupils have been learning about myths of Wales, writing stories and a variety of genres. Pupils also completed a piece of art work related to their myth.
Congratulations to the whole school for taking part and a big congratulations to all of our winners.
