We started our new topic by thinking about a place that we like to visit or somewhere we’ve been on holiday. Using Hwb the children chose a picture for the front of their postcard which we printed off. They then wrote their postcards and copied their address. The best part was walking down to the shop to buy the stamp and post it. The children did this so sensibly – all of them asking and paying for their stamps and using beautiful manners.
