As well as celebrating St. David’s Day this week, Dosbarth Fir have been finding out about other celebrations, such as Chinese New Year. They have been learning about the tradition of the Wishing Tree and they wrote their own wishes to put on our Wishing Tree in class. They have been developing their fine motor skills by using chopsticks and mark making with Chinese symbols. They have also been learning about the Chinese Zodiac and it was wonderful to see some of the pupil’s extend their own learning by completing additional missions, such as creating books about it.
