Continuing with yesterday’s theme of Empathy Day, today the children empathised with characters in a short film called The Lighthouse.

They watched the film twice before discussing the film making techniques using the 3Cs (colours, character, camera) and 3Ss (story, setting, sounds). They then focused on empathising with the lighthouse keeper and other characters, looking at things from different perspectives. They took it in turns to go in the hot seat and answered the questions so well. Great work Year 2!
