Year 4 had a lovely first day back after the half term celebrating St David’s Day. They performed brilliantly their recitation poem “Y Robot Dillad”, and sang with hwyl during the eisteddfod. In the afternoon, they had the opportunity to find out a little more about St David by researching and starting to create their own fact files about why we celebrate St David’s Day in Wales. The children were also incredibly proud to share their work, which had been entered into the school eisteddfod, with their families.
