Today year 4/5 visited the Glynn Vivian Art Museum. As we are studying the body, our focus was portraits. Pupils drew art work by Josef Herman, they also drew the art work collected by Richard Glynn Vivian.
The children then looked closely in the mirror to observe their facial features. They drew their faces and finally created their portrait collage using coloured paper and card.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their morning and have developed their first hand observation skills by using different media to do so.
