Today, as part of their learning on Islam, the class have been busy finding out about the features that are found in a Mosque. They looked at photos of the beautiful dome and Minarets on the outside of the building and then found out about some features inside such as the prayer hall, the raised section like a flight of stairs called a Minbar and where the holy book of Islam the Qu’ran is carefully stored. They did a fantastic job of drawing and labelling their own Mosque diagram. Ardderchog!
