We have been studying persuasion this week in Year 5. We have identified persuasive features, looked at the difference between facts and opinions and looked at ‘posh’ ways to start our sentences to be more convincing. This morning, we put our knowledge to the test in Persuasion Alley. One half of the children were trying to convince Aimee that School Uniform is a good idea and the other half wanted to get rid of it. Aimee had to decide which set of children were most convincing based on the techniques of persuasion they used.
