Continuing our learning about light, this week in Dosbarth Beech we undertook a shadow investigation. We discussed what shadows are and how they are formed before making our own shadow puppets. The children were then set a challenge: to find out how to make shadows bigger or smaller and think about why this is happening. They then drew labelled diagrams to show what they did in their investigation. As you can see, the children really enjoyed investigating shadows and learned a lot!
