Yesterday, Dosbarth Beech welcomed some very EGGciting visitors in class! Cerys, from the community farm, came in with seven chicken eggs for the children to care for. She spoke to the children about how to take care of the eggs whilst they are in an incubator. She then explained when they are likely to hatch. We started our countdown, and cannot wait for 21 days to pass when we will hopefully be able to watch the chicks hatch from the eggs. We are looking forward to learning about the lifecycle of a hen, so that by the time the chicks hatch, wee are chick EGGsperts!!!
