This week is Welsh Week in school, and Dosbarth Beech have enjoyed learning about the Welsh myth ‘Yr Afanc’. On Monday, the children enjoyed listening to the story and participating in a drama session. The children worked well independently, in pairs and in groups to explore how they can use their facial expression and move their bodies to represent different actions, moods and feelings. The children are looking forward to creating watercolours of the Afanc and using their writing skills to write about the Afanc myth later this week.
