This week the children have been further developing their Welsh language skills whilst focusing on Dyn Eira (snowmen). Last week the children designed snowmen and wrote about them in Welsh using the third person. This week the children followed their designs and made fantastic junk model snowmen. They also completed some pelen eira (snowball) maths activities, in which they further developed their mental addition skills whilst using Welsh number vocabulary with confidence. Interactive Welsh games on the whiteboard were a big hit, and the children worked well using their reading skills to complete a number of exciting challenges. Gwaith gwych, Blwyddyn 2!
