In Year Two, we recently read the story ‘Oi! Get Off Our Train!’ by John Burningham. The story is about five endangered animals who want to escape their habitat by getting on a train. This week we researched the first animal who wanted to get on the train – the elephant. We used Get Epic to research these amazing animals, and we found out lots of interesting information, which we were able to write about in our own words to answer questions we had created before researching.
