Our big question this term is, “Were Grandma and Grampa’s toys more fun than ours?” and we will be comparing old and new toys. Today the children had a Teddy Bears’ picnic. They brought in their teddies and played a variety of different games, such as pass the teddy and teddy hide and seek. We made sandwiches and decorated cakes, and also made some delicious lemon, lime or peppermint tea for the teddies. Unfortunately it was raining so we were unable to have our picnic outside but we put our picnic blankets on the carpet in the classroom and thoroughly enjoyed our delicious picnic.
