Year 2 have enjoyed learning about 2D shapes this week. They were able to find lines of symmetry and explored regular and irregular shapes including quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons and octagons. They used words such as edges and vertices to describe the shapes and then used Venn and Carroll diagrams to sort lots of 2D shapes. Amazing work, Year 2! You are now 2D shape experts!
