Today in Year Two we went on a lovely walk to find out about the types of houses and homes that are around our school. We began by learning Welsh vocabulary such as ty ar wahan, ty par, ty teras and bwthyn, which the boys and girls then used confidently when identifying the houses that we saw. The children showed super data collection skills and used tallying to carefully record their observations. Later this week we will be writing in Welsh about the types of houses that our friends live in, and we will create charts on Hwb showing the data gathered on our walk.
