Year 5 have been learning about water availability and creating posters on how to save water. We represented the Earth’s unusable salt water by pouring salt, used an ice cube tray to show water tied up in ice caps and used food colouring to demonstrate polluted water. We were amazed by how little of the earth’s water supply is actually usable!
