Year 3 Create Symmetrical Patterns Using Natural Objects

This week for maths, the children have been learning all about symmetry. They investigated lines of symmetry in a variety of 2d shapes then enjoyed transferring their understanding of this by creating symmetrical pictures using natural objects found in the outdoor environment. The children came up with some fantastic ideas for their designs – take a look at the pictures to see what they created!

Awesome work Year 3!
