We have been finding out about Africa this week. The children looked at some examples of African artwork and created their own neckpieces, using different colours and pattern. We also read the story ‘Sypreis Handa’ and used the computers and our Welsh vocabulary to write a shopping list containing the fruit that Handa needed.
It was also lovely to hear about one of our pupils’ own experiences of South Africa and see some of the wonderful items she had brought in.
