Today the Year Two children had a Teams call with Heulwen from St. Fagan’s. We enjoyed learning about washday long ago, and finding out about equipment such as mangles, washing boards and washing dollies. We asked lots of questions and we all agree that washday used to be very hard work indeed! We are all looking forward to visiting St. Fagan’s next week so we can learn even more about how Welsh houses and homes have changed over time.
