Y6 have thoroughly enjoyed their WW2 cooking experience today. We researched a recipe for carrot cookies from the CBBC website. Children needed to workout what ingredients and tools they needed and to write a method to make the cookies. They each then had a turn to make their cookie, which (surprising enough to the children – because of the carrots) were delicious.
