Dosbarth Fir have been learning about ‘heroes from the past’ and the children have been finding out about significant people, such as Florence Nightingale and Mary Secole, and the impact they have had on our world and society. The children found out that Florence Nightingale was known as the ‘Lady with the Lamp’ and used their fine motor skills to cut and create their own paper lanterns.
