Year 3 have had an exciting start to the Summer term exploring their big question ‘Why do Rainforests matter?’

We started off by reflecting on what we knew about Rainforests already and then planned and mapped out all of the ideas we had for what we would like to learn about this term!

The children then enjoyed learning how to locate different Rainforest from across the world on a map. They also enjoyed undertaking a Rainforest animal word search where they learnt all about different animal species and also designed their own terrariums!
