This week the children have enjoyed learning all about Jac Abertawe- the dog who saved a lot of people in Swansea! For today’s lesson, Year 1 enjoyed watching a short film which explored the story of Jac Abertawe.

We started by discussing what we had learnt from the film and then focussed more specifically on the 3Cs (camera, colour, character) and 3Ss (setting, sound and story) of film making.

The children then enjoyed undertaking the roll the dice activity, where depending on which icon they landed on (relating to the 3c’s and 3s’s), they had to answer questions about the film.

Year 1 worked very hard and enjoyed exploring the short film!
