This afternoon, the Year 3 children were treated to a fantastic virtual workshop from the team at Plantasia. They enjoyed a virtual tour where they were introduced to many rainforest animals such as the Red Belly Piranha, the Mexican Red Knee Tarantula, the Spectacled Caimans, Poison Dart frog and many more!

As well as meeting the animals, the children found out lots of interesting facts about each one – they were very surprised to learn that tarantulas have 8 eyes!!

The boys and girls also found it fascinating to find out about all of the wonderful fruits and produce we get from the rainforest.
