Mental Health Awareness in Year 3

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week and this year’s theme is ‘nature’. Did you know that nature is central to our emotional health? Being outdoors and appreciating the wonder of nature can help reduce anxiety and make us feel more relaxed.

We have started the week in Year 3 by doing just that. We spent the afternoon planting our own seeds, using recycled plastic bottles as handy little planters.

The children are looking forward to nurturing and looking after their plants and seeing how they blossom over the coming weeks.
