As part of their literacy development, the nursery children are learning about rhythm and rhyme. First we read the book “Don’t Put Your Finger In The Jelly Nelly!”. The children enjoyed listening to the funny rhyming words. Then we played “Silly Soup”, where the children had to match two pictures of items that rhymed and stir them into the soup. Excellent rhyming. Well done!
