This term, Year 6 have been learning about microorganisms in Science and today they applied their knowledge to an experiment linked to decaying food.
Pupils investigated if different substances made fruit (apple and banana) decay faster:
Lemon juice,
Sugar
Water
Air (empty bowl)
Pupils made predictions and recorded their results every half an hour throughout the day.
