Today, as part of our maths lesson, the children enjoyed using their knowledge of the properties of 3D shapes to create a branching database on Hwb. They had to think really carefully about the types of questions they could ask in order to sort the shapes correctly – they also had to include mathematical vocabulary such as vertices, edges and faces in their questions! The children thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to play each other’s ‘branching trees’ at the end of the lesson.
