Year 1 Become Weather Presenters!

As part of our mini question ‘Does Wales have the worst weather?’, the children have been busy finding out about weather forecasts and how they can be useful, such as helping us prepare for how to dress and how to plan for certain outdoor activities. We then watched a weather forecast and talked about the different symbols that we saw and what each symbol represented.

To finish off the session, the children had a go at being a weather presenter themselves! Using a map of France, and weather symbols of their choice, they presented the weather forecast to their friends – they were absolutely fantastic and really enjoyed the experience. Well done Year 1!
