As part of our Welsh Week studies the children have thoroughly enjoyed learning about Jac Abertawe – a hero dog who lived by Swansea docks and saved many lives of people that fell into the water. They have rewritten the story in their own words as well as writing an inscription about Jac for a memorial stone.

This afternoon they started our drama session by participating in a mirror activity – mirroring body parts as well as facial expressions. With their partner they then had to create a still image – like a photograph – which we called ‘the rescue’. Can you guess who was Jac and who was the person in the water? A super effort by all!
