Today the children have been busy exploring and composing some wonderful firework music. They began by listening to Stravinsky’s ‘Fireworks’ before discussing ideas for their own music. They then chose instruments which they thought were suitable for fireworks such as rockets, traffic lights and sparklers. They focused on pitch, tempo and dynamics when composing and did a great job. Da iawn boys and girls! Have a lovely, well earned half term.
