Year 1 have had a wonderful time celebrating St. David’s Day. We enjoyed watching the school assembly and we listened to the story of St. David. We used our creative skills to make Welsh flags and daffodils and we also enjoyed exploring the outdoors and creating sculptures linked to Welsh themes. This afternoon, we found out and talked about what Wales has to offer. We talked about our own experiences of living in Swansea and we really realised just how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful part of the world.
