As it is Autism Awareness Week this week, we have all enjoyed finding out more about Autism in Year 3. It has given us the opportunity to celebrate our similarities and differences and deepen our understanding and empathy for others.

The children have also enjoyed making jigsaw puzzle biscuits this week. Each one completely unique with beautiful colourful designs. The puzzle piece reflects the mystery and complexity of Autism. The different colours and shapes represent the diversity of those living with Autism. The brightness of the colours signals hope – hope through research and increasing awareness in people like you.

I hope you enjoy your biscuits Year 3.
