Year 1 have worked so hard this week to earn their Water Safety Passport Certificate by learning all about how to keep safe and have fun near the water!
We started off by Learning all about the RNLI and their role in helping others in our community. We then undertook several activities set by the RNLI such as reading water safety stories, listening to water safety songs and spotting dangers near the water.
Year 1 now understand all of the 4 key rules- Stop and Think/ Stay Together/ Float/ Call 999 or Shout for help.
As a result we all had our own certificate- well done Year 1!
