Year 6 paid tribute to all who fought in wars, the people who survived and who have been effected. We walked to the monument in Pontlliw to see our wreath, the plaques of soldiers and the magnificent art work, created by previous pupils of Pontlliw.
We took part in Remembrance service, two minute silence and a prayer to thank the people who have sacrificed their lives for our country.
In the afternoon, we had an online workshop with Cardiff Castle and the very knowledgeable historian, who had an abundance of artifices from WW2.
