The nursery children used lots of lovely adjectives during our pumpkin investigation this morning. Yesterday they said they would like to see what was inside the pumpkins, so today we cut them open. The children used spoons and tweezers to examine the insides and some children enjoyed using their hands. They said the pumpkins felt hard on the outside and soft, cold and slimy on the inside. Somebody said that it felt slimy like a snail. Excellent descriptions boys and girls. Da iawn!
