Reception pupils have had lots of fun this week designing a mascot as part of the WRU schools challenge! First we received a special message off a Welsh Rugby Player asking us to complete the design a mascot challenge. We then undertook research looking at different Mascots around the world and decided as a class that we would design a new mascot for Wales to use in the Six Nations- we even practised singing the Welsh National Anthem as if we were at a match!
Pupils created lots of lovely mascots and incorporated Welsh Features such as dragons, daffodils, the colour red and rugby balls- da iawn dosbarth derbyn!
