This half term the children are taking part in athletics as part of their P.E sessions. Todayâs focus was throwing for distance. They started off practising throwing a bean bag, aiming to get into their partnerâs hoop. They estimated distances and took it in turns to measure the distance using a trundle wheel. After that they tried to get their beanbag to reach 5, 10 Â and then 15 metres, scoring more points the further they reached. Fantastic throwing, estimating and measuring skills Year 2!
