Today we had a virtual meeting with a year 6 class in Jersey, Channel Island. Jersey is situated near the coast of Normandy, France? Pupils shared their feelings about their return to school after lockdown.
As it is National Languages Day in Jersey, we performed a Welsh song and played a Welsh game. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to linking up again in a few weeks. By the next time we meet, Pontlliw pupils will prepare questions about Jersey’s war tunnels as this also links with our current topic.
