The Year 2 children have had a VERY egg-citing week!!! This week we welcomed ten chicken eggs to class, and we have waited patiently for them to hatch. On Wednesday the first cracks appeared, and two chicks were welcomed into the world! The remaining eight chicks hatched on Thursday. The children have loved this fantastic experience, and they have been so excited watching the chicks in the brooding box. Each chick has been given a name by the class, and we cannot wait until next week so we can hold them when they are a little bigger and stronger.
