For World Mental Health Day, this week Beech Class have been discussing positive and negative emotions and how we deal with them. We have been discussing self-regulation strategies and how they can help the children to manage their emotions. Each learner spent time illustrating what they look like when they are in the green zone. They then chose personal self-regulation strategies that they will use to help them when they are in the blue, yellow or red zones. It was lovely to see how enthusiastic the children were when discussing personal strategies that they use in school and at home.
