As part of our ‘Where in the World Am I?’ Big Question, we have started to look at the weather around the world. For Welly Wednesday today, we focused on rainbows. The children tried to ‘grow rainbows’ using felt pens and water. They were amazed when they could see the colours climbing up their rainbows! They also explored colour mixing and had the challenge of making the colours of the rainbow using different coloured water. They loved investigating which colours they could make. Finally, they used colour swatches to find different colours in our surrounding environment. A fun, bright and colourful Welly Wednesday!
