Year 1 have had lots of fun this week learning all about the Great Barrier Reef through studying film!
We started by watching film scenes from Finding Nemo and discussing what they could learn about the Great Barrier Reef through those film clips i.e. what does it look like? What sea creatures live in it? etc.
The children then had to write what they could see, hear, touch, taste and smell in the Great Barrier Reef (5 senses) from the perspective of their favourite character in the film.
All of the children worked extremely hard- da iawn Year 1!
