Today, Year 6 have been developing an array of skills, linked to their Science and Technology knowledge.
We have been building WW2 worldS on Minecraft and calculating the area and perimeter of bunkers, Anderson shelters and communication huts.
We then leant about how morse code was used in WW2.
Pupils built communication huts and placed buzzers and sound boxes on Minecraft in order to communicate on the same world.
We then had to problem solve and created a circuit to communicate using morse code but by lighting a bulb and making a buzzer sound.
We also completed the final part of or yeast investigation , looking at the best temperatures for yeast to ‘grow’.

A very busy, productive day!
