For this part of our Big Question, we are learning about sharks in Year 1 and we had an online session with Fenella from Sharks4kids today. Fenella is a ‘shark scientist’ and shared lots of interesting information with us. Did you know that sharks have eyelids? There is even a shark who can walk! The children were especially amazed to learn that there are sharks in the waters around Swansea and the Gower! They were fascinated by the different facts and loved seeing different videos and photos. They also found out more about the important role sharks have in our oceans and that we need to work hard to protect them. A huge thank you to Fenella for such an interesting and informative session.
