Our book is ‘Superkid’ this week and in the story, he encounters some pirates, so we went on our own pirate scavenger hunt on our outdoor day this week. We found cannonballs (conkers!), a parrot’s feather, a captain’s hook (a twig/stick shaped like a hook!) and we even found a plank for people to walk!! We then made our own Superkid masks using items we found in the outdoors. We are all Superkids in Year 1!
