Reception have really enjoyed World Book Day!
The costumes were fantastic!
The children began by listening to the story of ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’.
They loved retelling the story, and listening to the story with some silly words in it, but don’t worry Reception sorted them out!
They played some Maths games, reading the numbers from a dice and then finding the correct number on the Caterpillar food.
The children created some great paintings of The Hungry Caterpillar with their hands too.
Finally the children listened to MC Grammar, they loved listening to his song all about World book day!
